Phase I: up to $75,000. Phase II: up to $250,000. Phase I disbursed 75% upon approval; Phase II disbursed 50% upfront with the remainder after program requirements are met.
Matching grant, first-come-first-served (non-competitive)
Eligibility
For-profit Illinois-based businesses with an active federal SBIR/STTR Phase I or Phase II award received within 12 months of application. Phase II applicants must certify at least 51% of the federal Phase II research will occur in Illinois. Lifetime cap: 5 Phase I awards and 2 Phase II awards per business.
